Professional indemnity insurance provides financial protection following negligent advice or poor architectural design given to third parties. For some professionals, such as architects, surveyors, lawyers, insurance brokers, financial advisers and accountants, the professional regulator usually requires minimum levels of professional indemnity insurance.
